[J!] SAILING INTO HISTORY $1000: USS Constitution (24 August 2022)

USS Constitution, labelled Old Ironsides, is a wooden-hulled frigate and the oldest warship that's still afloat, having been launched in 1797. Her first appearance was against France in the Quasi-War, but her most famous was against the United Kingdom during the War of 1812, when she took down five British ships. Among them was HMS Guerriere, whose shots had famously bounced off of the supposedly wooden hull.

USS Constitution was the first correct response of a Jeopardy! clue on the Page-A-Day calendar during The Wiki Camp 2's existence, in the category of Sailing Into History for $1000.
