A Transit Relay is a relay where participants go a certain route but only using public transit. Transit Relays in the works include:
- A Transit Relay across the Greater Toronto Area from Oshawa to Hamilton.
- The Great Canadian Transit Relay from St. John's to Victoria
- The Great American Transit Relay from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C.
- A Transit Relay replicating the route Phileas Fogg took around the world in 80 days, featuring potentially the first Blåhaj (as in IKEA's marketable plushie) to circumnavigate the world.
- The Ultimate Transit Relay, connecting every sovereign state in the world with potentially the first Blåhaj to visit all 194 sovereign states.
