Venus is the second planet from the Sun in the solar system. It is named after the Roman god of the same name. It is covered in clouds of sulfuric acid and has an extremely thick atmosphere of carbon dioxide, the thickest in the solar system. The resulting greenhouse effect gives it an extremely heavy pressure, 92 times that of its similarly-sized neighbour, Earth.
Venus is by far the hottest planet in the solar system; its surface is hot enough to melt a piece of lead. Due to this environment depriving people of their right to carry chunks of lead around, Venus has been deemed uninhabitable.
Controversy
Venus is white as fuck. For some reason everyone keeps making it all orange. For those who want to keep making it blue, see Neptune.
