A typical WAUCA American football season works in a way similar to the NCAA in the [[United States]]. The top teams in each province are ranked in a poll, as well as the top teams in Wikiland overall. The top 27 teams qualify for the postseason, along with the 165 provincial champions, with a few exceptions:
*If the provincial champions are in the top 27, then the runners-up qualify for the postseason.
*If both the champions and runners-up are in the top 27, then third place qualifies, and so on.
